01-06-2010Run for Duchenne / Racing the Planet
I will take one million steps, crossing deserts and mountains in the most remote places on earth.
To make a few steps possible for young boys with Duchenne Muscular Distrophy.

I will participate in ‘Racing The Planet’, which means I will cross 4 deserts, one week and some 250 km for each desert. The 4 Deserts series encompasses the Gobi Desert in China, the Atacama Desert of Chile, the Sahara Desert in Egypt and the last Desert in Antarctica. They represent the windiest, driest, hottest and coldest places on Earth.

During those 4 weeks and 1000 km, I will ask the impossible from my muscles, in order to focus on muscle diseases. I want to raise awareness for muscular dystrophy. A million steps for a few steps forward in research.
